
Chris Odili Enenya
Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer
Chris Odili Enenya, directs operations as an Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of the company. He had a distinguished career with the Bata Shoe Organization for about 25 years. He progressed rapidly as Training Officer, District Sales Manager {North West/North East}, Dealership Manager, where he pioneered the establishment of independent retailers in rural and semi-urban communities in Nigeria.
In 1985 Chris was transferred to Bata Limited, global headquarters of the Bata Shoe Organization. From his base in Toronto Canada, his work schedule took him to Bata operations in about 30 countries, gaining extensive international experience. As International Training Officer, his responsibilities included development and implementation of training programs to enhance the communication and managerial capacity of first-line and middle level management personnel of the entire organization. His tour of duty took him to Bata Companies in Europe, South East Asia, Indian Sub-Continent including East Africa, West Africa and Southern Africa.
He was appointed Marketing Manager, Bata Nigeria in 1988 and rose to the position of General Manager (Marketing) and in 1996, was appointed to the Board of Bata Nigeria Plc as Executive Director (Marketing).
He attended numerous Senior Management Courses in Europe and North America. He is an alumnus of University of Lagos and Business School, University of Western Ontario, Canada. His professional membership include; Nigeria Institute of Management, Nigeria Institute of Sales and Marketing Management and The American Management Association. Since retirement in 1999, he has devoted his talent to Management Consultancy, Training and Capacity Building for both private and public sector organizations. He has helped many small and medium enterprises to incorporate modern governance models to strengthen their organizations. Chris brings his vast experience to drive the growth of Power Care Limited. He is married with children.
